This work is an ode to my grandmother, Victoria, that arrived to Venezuela in 1954 from Spain. The installation commemorates her almost 60 years in the country. She arrived from Bilbao on a cruise ship called Monte Ayala, which reached the coast at 17:14. At that same time and for 59 consecutive days, I collected postcards in the form of text, video, objects and other memorabilia of my encounters in the city that has become my new home, GRAZ. The installation shows a sort of sensible geography my exile.
